Get away from it all with an ELECTRIC QUILT ESCAPE © at "Pieceful Cottage" in Wenona, MD.  Plan a get-together to meet your on-line friends, or bring your bee. There is plenty of room for group of 5-6 quilters. Bring your laptops loaded with EQ5 or EQ6. Work on your own projects or take one of the Electric Quilt Classes listed below.

EQ5/EQ6 for Beginners

Do you own EQ5 or EQ6 but never use it? Sign-up for this informative three-hour class with a hands-on tutorial. You will quickly be designing your own quilts at home. The class also works for owners of earlier versions of Electric Quilt. Half-Day Workshop.

 

More Fun with Electric Quilts

In this class you learn more advanced design applications, create appliqué patterns, work with paper-piecing patterns, and learn how to overly quilt designs. Must have taken Beginners class or have equivalent knowledge of EQ5/EQ6.  Full-Day Workshop.

Electric Quilt Design Service

DreamCastle Quilts will assist you in creating your own unique quilt design, using the Electric Quilt computer design program. You can choose from hundreds of blocks already programmed into the system, or we can help you to design new ones. After settling on your block, you will choose a quilt layout, colors, borders, and quilting patterns. We can provide you with printed instructions for rotary cutting diagrams, paper-pieced foundations, piecing templates, appliqué templates and quilt designs.

Electric Quilt Design Consultation

  • Basic 3 Hour EQ6 Consultation and Design Session $50.00
  • $1.00 for each color copy and 10 cents for each black and white copy
  • Some complicated designs may take more time, and there is a $10.00 for each additional hour
  • Consultations can be in-person, by fax and phone, or e-mail.
